A large Wedgwood glazed earthenware mug, made to commemorative the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.  Designed by Richard Guyatt, consisting of a crown with a lion on one side and a unicorn on the other side. The looped shape handle is gilt lined on each side and has a single line of leaves down the back. To the inside of the mug it has the motto “God Save The Queen” Fully marked to the base with red painted CL 6487 E

Good condition, no chips or cracks

Approximate Measurements: 4″ high and 4¼” diameter top
