These topographical pottery souvenirs were made from around 1800 when there became a demand to the mass travel for souvenirs. It is believed that although they do not have a manufacturers mark on them, they were mass produced in some of the prestigious continental porcelain factories. The onset of the first world war in 1914 brought an end to their production.
