Description
A rare antique Victorian Minton water jug and wash bowl set. Decorated in a green woven effect transfer pattern, overlaid with leaves and hand painted pink, blue and purple flowers.
This beautiful matching set has no chips or cracks, but there is crazing to the glaze and a little discolouration.
This would look great displayed in a bathroom or bedroom.
Both items are stamped on the base and date from between 1873-1891. This was made exclusively for Mortlocks of Oxford St, London, who were renowned china and glass sellers founded in 1746.
Approximate Measurements: Jug 6″ high, Bowl 3″ high and 9½” diameter top.
