A large vintage Japanese Lacquerware tray, in a very dark reddish brown colour decorated with a Chrysanthemum flower pattern.

The Chrysanthemum is the national flower of Japan and is known as  “kiku” in Japanese. and represents longevity, rejuvenation and nobility in Japan. It is also the symbol of autumn, harvest and goodwill. 

Good condition, with a little light wear and some marks, see photos
